Website Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: August 27, 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Playworks, LLC (“Playworks,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) website and online services.

By using this website, submitting a form, registering for a service, or making a purchase through the website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Website Information Is Not Medical Advice

Information provided through the Playworks website, social media, educational materials, downloads, and other general resources is intended for educational and informational purposes.

This information does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, occupational therapy evaluation, or individualized treatment.

Viewing our website, downloading a resource, contacting Playworks, or completing a general inquiry does not by itself establish a therapist-client relationship.

Occupational Therapy Services

Individual occupational therapy services are provided according to applicable professional standards, state law, and the specific terms and policies associated with the service.

Recommendations are individualized based on the information available to the treating occupational therapy practitioner.

Results cannot be guaranteed.

Developmental and Occupational Therapy Screenings

Playworks may offer brief developmental or occupational therapy screenings in childcare centers, schools, community settings, or other locations.

A screening is intended to identify potential areas of concern and determine whether additional evaluation, monitoring, or support may be appropriate.

A screening is not a comprehensive occupational therapy evaluation and does not provide a medical or developmental diagnosis.

Screening recommendations may include:

  • No additional action at this time

  • Monitoring development

  • Activities or strategies to try at home

  • Consultation with another professional

  • A comprehensive occupational therapy evaluation

Parents and guardians remain responsible for seeking appropriate medical or developmental evaluation when they have concerns about their child's health or development.

Parent or Guardian Authorization

A parent or legal guardian must provide any required consent before Playworks provides services to a minor.

When services occur at a school, preschool, childcare center, or other third-party location, the parent or guardian authorizes Playworks personnel to interact with the child as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service.

Additional authorization may be requested before information is shared with school or childcare personnel.

Payments

Fees for services are displayed during registration, enrollment, or checkout or otherwise communicated before services are provided.

Payment may be required at the time of registration or according to the payment schedule associated with a particular service.

Payments may be processed through third-party payment processors.

Cancellations, Missed Services, and Refunds

Cancellation, rescheduling, refund, and missed-visit policies may vary depending on the service or program purchased.

Any service-specific policies presented during registration, enrollment, or checkout become part of these Terms.

For scheduled screening events, fees may be nonrefundable after the registration deadline or once screening services have been provided. Any applicable refund or rescheduling policy will be communicated during registration.

Digital Products and Educational Resources

Educational materials, handouts, downloads, worksheets, and other resources provided or sold by Playworks are for personal or authorized professional use as specified at the time of purchase.

Unless expressly permitted, materials may not be reproduced, redistributed, resold, uploaded to shared resource libraries, or represented as the purchaser's own work.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, website content and original Playworks materials—including text, graphics, branding, educational resources, and other original content—are owned by or licensed to Playworks and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Use of the website does not transfer ownership of this content to the user.
